PlumpJack Estate

Oakville Napa Valley

Our 42-acre estate sits on an alluvial fan, formed by ancient landslides from the Vaca Mountains that deposited onto the valley floor. This resulted in diverse soils across the estate, ranging from rocky, well-draining hillside soils on the east side (closer to the mountains) to lighter soils, like loam, silt, and clay, on the west side (closer to the Napa River flood zone), allowing us to craft wines with depth and complexity, reflecting a unique sense of place, different from even our immediate neighbors.
